The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is a community of registered student organizations (RSOs) living and working inside Siebel Center for Design. Through this program, student groups get access to SCD's spaces, tools, and promotion channels, and in return, they contribute back to a shared creative ecosystem.
The Clubhouse is built on a core idea from human-centered design: the best outcomes come from people working together, sharing resources, and staying accountable to the communities they're a part of.
Any RSO can apply, not just design orgs, as long as your group has a real project and wants to be part of a collaborative creative community.
Rather than just handing out space, we want to know what your group is working on and how you'll show up for the community around you. In exchange for access to SCD's studios, storage, and promotion channels, Clubhouse members contribute back through workshops, collaborations, and events that keep the building active.

What it means to be a Clubhouse member
Membership isn't just a key to a locker or a line on a booking calendar. It's an active role in a shared community, and what that looks like will vary group to group, but it generally comes down to a few things:
Community. Members send a rep to check-ins, show up for Clubhouse events, and know what the groups around them are building.
Contribution. Every group gives back through its own strengths, whether that's design, fabrication, outreach, content, or organizing.
Accountability. Access comes with a semester contribution point minimum, and groups are responsible for how their whole team uses the space.
Access Types
We offer four types, depending on what your group needs & your
Priority room booking & support from SCD's promotion channels (newsletter, social, screens)
Everything in Systems, plus an assigned locker or shelf for your team's materials

Full-term workspace, storage, Systems Access, for ongoing semester-long work
