HCD in the Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (LASS) and LASS Education

The purpose of research studies under this area is to:

  • Investigate the potential of HCD approaches in addressing complex societal challenges and fostering social innovation within humanities and social sciences disciplines.
  • Explore the application of HCD in the context of humanities and social sciences education to promote 21st century mindsets including human-centeredness, communication, collaboration, and metacognition.
  • Develop pedagogical frameworks and instructional strategies for integrating HCD into LASS curricula and teaching practices.
