Teaching and Learning About HCD

Teaching and Learning About Human-Centered Design

The purpose of research studies under this area is to:

  • Explore and understand the teaching and learning processes of HCD in higher education learning environments where multidisciplinary teams work collaboratively on authentic design projects.
  • Examine the impact of engaging in HCD on students’ learning outcomes in higher education learning environments.
  • Develop metrics and instruments that can be used to assess students’ learning and application of HCD in higher education learning environments.
