Human Centered Schools Network

SCD’s Human-Centered Schools Network

What is SCD’s HCSN?

The Siebel Center for Design Human-Centered Schools Network is a collaborative community of K-12 educators, school leaders, administrators and teachers committed to reimagining teaching and learning through the lens of human-centered design.

We bring together individuals and institutions who believe that human-centered design is a problem solving approach that equips educators and students with a flexible structure to tackle complex, real-world challenges through empathetic collaboration and innovative thinking.

The HCSN exists to support K–12 educators in integrating human-centered design methods, mindsets and capabilities into classrooms, schools, and districts. Our goal is to share tools, co-develop solutions to real challenges, and cultivate a culture of design that values people first  by connecting practitioners across contexts.
