Classrooms
Classrooms for Design Instruction
The classrooms at SCD are flexible spaces designed for project-based learning, where we teach our “DTX” courses and host classes from our Affiliates who are using Human-Centered Design in their curriculum.
Classrooms may be reserved for meetings and events using our online request form. To request a classroom for a full-semester course, review our Building Policies for additional information.
We build a community of creative problem-solvers through our shared spaces and collaborations.
Who Can Reserve Spaces in SCD
- Anyone on campus who needs a flexible classroom that allows for greater collaboration
- RSOs and student teams who need space to meet regularly and access to design resources
- Groups who need space or lockers to work on their projects.
A valid University email address is required to reserve spaces and an active I-Card is required to check out any equipment. If you're part of the campus community, you can use anything in SCD for whatever you are working on.
For more information, check out our full building policies page.
