Sam Glassenberg is the CEO of Level Ex and an alum from the Grainger College of Engineering. He will share his experiences working in the game industry and translating skills to new spaces.

3p-4p: Jody Sperling, Dance@Illinois Resident Artist [SCD Gallery]
Join guest artist Jody Sperling for a presentation and demonstration of the dance art of Loie Fuller, along with a showing of the "Master Dancer" virtual reality app being developed on campus.

By discussing the different challenges faced by all of us today in compared to those in the twentieth century, this lecture proposes ideas for a very needed design education reform, and shares educational experiments that are conducted in different institutions. This will be the first in the series of Smart People Talking Smart coordinated by SCD, which will feature conversations with prominent designers, educators, researchers and more.
