Event Summary

This event was a celebration of the remarkable research work that had integrated Human-Centered Design (HCD) into the Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. Specifically, it was intended to recognize both the practical and theoretical research contributions that had enriched the Liberal Arts and Social Sciences through the implementation of the HCD framework. In addition, we hoped that the event would serve as an invitation to those from the Liberal Arts and Social Sciences who had not yet seen themselves in the work we did at SCD. We aimed to illuminate the paths that had drawn our Affiliates to HCD, showcasing the insights, learnings, and opportunities they discovered as they integrated HCD into their various works.
