About Megan

Megan Hubbert is the Communications Specialist at SCD.  She helps bring SCD’s creative community to life across social channels and co-manages the student marketing team, working closely with staff, designers, and campus partners to share stories that highlight human-centered design in action. From managing newsletters and social media to creating print materials and event coverage, her work focuses on connecting people to SCD’s mission in meaningful and creative ways.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Writing for Performance from Columbia College Chicago and brings a multi-disciplinary background in marketing, theater, and software development that helps her see every project through multiple lenses.
Outside of SCD, Megan loves to read, write, and experiment with creative projects. She is currently working on her first novel and enjoys spending time with her wife, Melissa, and their two cats, Bea and Denna.
