About Brian

Brian Guerrero received his PHD in Curriculum and Instruction at UIUC exploring the connections between games and learning. His previous research explored such topics as, using Minecraft to explore creativity/interest, developing programming skills within Minecraft, and exploring collaborative problem solving within online Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Games groups. He is currently the K-12 lead, focusing on initiatives to integrate Human Centered Design principles at Illinois schools and educational organizations.
