About Dawn

Dr. Bohn has been working with SCD since 2018 and brings extensive experience in both academia and industry. She earned her Ph.D. in Food Science from the University of Illinois and worked in research and development roles before returning to Illinois to teach.

In her new role, she will collaborate closely with SCD's Academic Programs as well as the Assessment and Research teams to develop and manage engagement opportunities for faculty and affiliates. With a passion for experiential learning and student growth, Dr. Bohn is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and thought-provoking learning environment that encourages innovation and critical thinking.
